HIPAA

Data security and confidentiality have always been a primary focus of CaseTrakker Software. Many of the requirements of HIPAA were in place in CaseTrakker products long before it became mandated. IMA Technologies has already taken measures to ensure our products are aligned with HIPAA regulations and we are committed to working with our clients to safeguard their critical patient data. CaseTrakker, as shipped, is an infrastructure, or platform, upon which various case management and workflow automation models can be built. IMA Technologies asserts HIPAA compliance in the areas of data security, secured data communications, data formatting flexibility, automation of code sets, automation of unique IDs, and the ability for the customer to change the database (content) as HIPAA data requirements change.

• Logging of all views or edits of patient data
• Logging of all failed logins

Code Sets

• Ability to store code sets (such as ICD9 or CPT4 codes) electronically

Unique Ids

• Ability to assign unique Ids to Providers, Employers, Health Plans, and/or Individuals
